About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to lead our data solutions team. This individual will be responsible for architecting and implementing cloud-based data systems using big data technologies, integrating data from various sources, and developing data management solutions.

This role requires strong technical skills in Python, Spark, and cloud technologies, as well as expertise in working with relational and non-relational databases.

Additionally, this position demands excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, and a self-motivated and disciplined approach to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Design and develop cloud-based data systems using big data technologies to ingest, process, and analyze large and diverse datasets.
  • Data Integration: Develop systems that integrate data from various internal and external sources, cleanse and normalize the data, and build pipelines to process both structured and unstructured data.
  • Data Management: Design and develop data management solutions using relational and non-relational databases to store and process data for various application use cases.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Professional Experience: 6+ years of experience in data engineering and development.
  • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
  • Expertise: Working with Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB/MongoDB, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Search, etc.
