Azure Data Architect Position

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our cloud-based data and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure. As a seasoned Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure enterprise-grade data platforms.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement end-to-end architecture for data and analytics solutions on Azure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution delivery meets project timelines and milestones.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and data engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot architectural issues and provide hands-on support when needed.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade data and analytics solutions.
  • Experience in application migration and modernization on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance practices.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering with a solid foundation in software engineering and architectural design.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and project leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with cloud-based DevOps practices and tools.
