Job Title: Cloud Data Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Solutions Architect to design, develop, and optimize data solutions on cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building scalable data architectures, implementing ETL pipelines, and leveraging serverless services to enable efficient data analytics and reporting.

  • Design, implement, and maintain data architectures using cloud-based data services.
  • Develop, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines using Glue, Lambda, DMS, and Python/PySpark.
  • Create and optimize data models for performance and efficiency.
  • Write complex SQL queries to support data analysis, reporting, and business insights.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Manage and optimize data warehouses (Redshift, RDS) for scalability and performance.
  • Utilize Athena, CloudFormation, and other cloud resources for automation and data management.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on cloud-based services.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services: Glue, Lambda, Athena, DMS, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, and serverless architectures.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in query optimization.
  • Proven ability to design scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
  • Experience in performance tuning of data models and warehouses.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

A good understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data security is beneficial.
