Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available data solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement cloud-based data architectures that meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud data platforms, including architecture diagrams, system configurations, and deployment plans.
  4. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with cloud data implementations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud data management and apply knowledge to improve existing solutions.
  6. Lead the development of proof-of-concepts and prototypes to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in cloud data architecture, including designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Amazon S3, and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, and C++.
  • Knowledge of data processing frameworks, including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Flink.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
