Job Title: SQL Server Database Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining large-scale databases that meet the highest standards of performance, security and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Database Maintenance: Ensure database systems operate efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and implement patches and updates as needed.
  • Troubleshooting Support: Analyze complex database problems, resolve issues promptly, and minimize downtime.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify areas of improvement in query execution, indexing, and configuration to enhance overall system performance.
  • Backup Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss in case of disasters or system failures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to resolve database-related issues and improve overall system functionality.

Requirements:

  • Expertise: Strong experience working with MS SQL Server, database design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex database issues.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies for database management, security, and performance tuning.
