Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Database Expert with 7+ years of hands-on experience in database development, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, database design, performance tuning, and ensuring data security.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and optimize relational database structures.

- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Ensure data integrity and normalization.

Database Administration & Performance Tuning :

- Monitor database performance and optimize queries.

- Conduct indexing and query optimization to improve efficiency.

- Troubleshoot slow queries and database bottlenecks.

Backup & Recovery :

- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.

- Ensure data replication and high availability.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with developers to optimize database interactions.

- Provide support for database-related issues and incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server, or other RDBMS).

- Experience with database indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.

- Knowledge of database security best practices.

- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting tools.

- Experience with Azure cloud-based databases

- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, PowerShell) is an advantage.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
