Role Description:

This role is focused on leading a team of technologists to develop and implement innovative data solutions. The team will be working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver complex initiatives using agile methods and frameworks.

  • End-to-end technical delivery of initiatives, including providing technical leadership and guidance to the team
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions
  • Provide guidance and support to the team on best practices, coding standards, and engineering principles
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies and data quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have experience in leading development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or iterative releasing methodologies. They will also have knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 8-13 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling. They will also have experience in leading teams, mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
