Job Summary

The role of Assistant Vice President involves driving organizational understanding of AI/ML capabilities and working with senior leadership to propose strategic use of these technologies.

This thought leader will partner with functional heads to understand and solve business challenges, leveraging AI & Analytics solutions to manage and grow portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business problems into analytical problems and build solutions using AI/ML techniques to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Develop an approach to scale AI/ML agenda at the organization through various AI/ML solutions.
  • Enable business decision-making and co-create data-driven business strategies through storytelling with data and presenting insights to top leaders.
  • Build and manage external relationships with cross-industry/academia forums for outside-in perspectives and to showcase learnings.
  • Drive AI & Analytics projects end-to-end, including conceptualization, development, implementation, and continuous monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Education: A master's degree in a quantitative field from a top-tier institution is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of work experience in analytical roles is necessary.

  • A strong collaborator with abilities to influence conventional thinking.
  • Strong analytical thinking and storytelling skills with data, as well as presenting insights to top leaders.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize, and govern project execution.
  • Demonstrated passion for AI/ML/Data Science through developed solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with various open-source tools and technologies such as Python, R, Spark, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud environments.
  • Experience with ML/DL frameworks and deep understanding of new-age cloud-based frameworks & services around Gen AI, Vision, Text, and Speech AI.

Measure of Success:

  • Ability to form partnerships with functional leaders and influence decision-making through data.
  • Improvement in operational efficiencies/enabling business goals achievement of functions supported.
  • Execute organization-wide initiatives.
  • Number of AI/ML use case implementations.
  • Improvements in algorithm outcome and ensuring model performance as expected at all times.
