Senior Power Electronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead the development of high-voltage battery systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. Create system architecture and component specifications for high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems, ensuring compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering to ensure seamless integration and EMI/EMC compliance.
  3. Guide PCB layout for high-power designs, focusing on thermal management and EMC performance.
  4. Develop and implement validation and testing strategies for prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  5. Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices, considering their impact on system performance and safety.
  6. Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, adhering to automotive standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in power electronics engineering with a strong understanding of power electronics and battery management systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
  • Experience in guiding PCB layout for high-power designs and developing validation and testing strategies for prototypes.
