Job Opportunity

This position involves overseeing the daily operations of a diverse real estate portfolio, encompassing office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and other commercial assets. The primary objective is to maximize property value and returns for investors.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, with extensive experience utilizing Yardi software. They should exhibit exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio
  • Coordinate and monitor property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects
  • Oversee third-party vendor payments and timely mortgage payments
  • Maintain and manage insurance coverage, including claims processing

Tenant Lease Management and Billing

  • Enter lease agreement information & rent schedules into Yardi
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding billing and lease language
  • Process deposits and apply payments to tenant accounts as necessary

Cash Flow Reporting and Analysis

  • Gather and populate data into a cash flow spreadsheet
  • Review General Ledger for income and expense entries requiring reclassification
  • Analyze leasing projections and activity

Lease Administration and Tenant Relations

  • Collaborate with leasing teams to ensure lease compliance, accurate documentation, and timely renewal negotiations
  • Foster positive relationships with tenants to enhance satisfaction, address concerns, and ensure retention

Tenant Year-End Reconciliations

  • Set up reconciliation data and calculation format in Yardi
  • Prepare tenant year-end reconciliation calculations, either manually or in Yardi

Annual Budgeting

  • Gather budget year income projections from property management and leasing, entering Yardi's Budget Module
  • Gather budget year expense projections from property management and corporate accounting, entering Yardi's Budget Module
