We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Professional to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day management of our assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio onboarding: Monitor and analyze cash flows, track and summarize reporting, prepare analytics, communicate status, process, and asset level activity throughout the investment life cycle.
- Collaborate with the asset management team and external business partners in performance facilitation and review, suggesting enhancements where applicable.
- Coordinate with third parties and internal teams on lender reporting, loan covenant monitoring, and compliance with agreements.
- Outline key terms in credit and purchase agreements.
- Execute operational efficiencies and information flow with internal and external teams.
- Manage funding and distribution activity with internal/external teams.
Real Estate Technology Project Management:
- Work closely with the client's technology team and consultants on high-priority real estate technology implementation initiatives.
- Perform detailed reviews of chart of account mappings to real estate asset trial balance accounts during technology implementation and new deal onboarding.
- Review financial statement reconciliations and resolve mapping discrepancies to ensure generated financial statements reflect deal activity and performance.
- Assist in managing third-party workflows.
- Utilize portfolio management tools to analyze standardized financial statements, key performance metrics, and partner reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in asset management or related fields (6-8 years).
- Advanced accounting knowledge (US GAAP & IFRS) with expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with a deep understanding of key investment drivers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to cultivate trust and build strong partnerships with counterparts.
- Training and mentoring junior team members.
