We are seeking a seasoned Digital Content Strategist to develop and implement a robust YouTube strategy focused on growing a kids' content channel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive YouTube strategy for the kids' channel, incorporating tactics for audience growth, content planning, and engagement optimization across Instagram and Facebook.
  • Lead the creation and scheduling of content, ensuring alignment with YouTube's kids' policies and optimal algorithm performance.
  • Analyse performance metrics using YouTube Studio and third-party tools, providing insights on watch time, retention, engagement, and growth to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Maintain community engagement across platforms, monitoring comments and interactions.
  • Coordinate and communicate with external agencies for smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce visually engaging content.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in YouTube's kids' content, new features, and platform updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 7+ years of digital media experience, with proven ability to grow and manage a YouTube channel (preferably kids) with over 1+ million subscribers.
  • Expertise in YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience with digital media management tools and analytics platforms.
