Job Description

Senior Workday Expenses Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Workday Expenses professional to support our day-to-day operations and lead improvements.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Workday configuration, integrations, and data transmission (EIB), as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development, including business process configuration, integrations, data transmission (EIB), testing, and troubleshooting primarily in the Expense Module.
  • Assist the team in ensuring data accuracy and seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features and functionality.
  • Lead Workday-enabled finance expenses workstreams to design, configure, test, and deploy leading practice-based business processes and solutions.
  • Be the primary point of contact for data gathering, testing, and communication with key stakeholders and internal Business Systems teams.
  • Understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through testing systems, assist the business in testing the Workday solution, and provide a proactive interface between business partner groups and the Workday team.
  • Build reports to support both domestically and internationally for various areas of the Workday product.
  • Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive, documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects.
  • Analyze business needs, translate them into technical requirements and solutions within the Workday ecosystem, optimize business processes by enhancing workflows, automating manual tasks, and providing actionable insights through data reporting and analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday configuration, integrations, and data transmission (EIB).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience with Workday upgrades and implementation of new and revised functionality.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
