About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist Professional with a strong background in staffing operations and manufacturing environments. The role is a blend of end-to-end talent acquisition, payroll compliance, employee relations, and HR operations across multiple sites and projects.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a large staffing organization or staffing operations supporting manufacturing/industrial clients.

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
    • Own full lifecycle recruitment for shop-floor, technical, supervisory, and corporate roles (sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, offer negotiation).
    • Work closely with business heads and project managers to understand headcount plans and skills requirements.
    • Manage agency/vendor relationships, campus drives, employee referrals, and external sourcing channels.
    • Ensure effective onboarding, induction, documentation, and background verification for all hires.
  • Payroll & Benefits
    • Manage end-to-end payroll processing (monthly cycle), salary calculations, reimbursements, deductions, and statutory contributions.
    • Coordinate with payroll vendors/software and validate payroll outputs for accuracy and timeliness.
    • Handle salary structuring, increments, joining/exit settlements, and payroll reconciliations.
    • Ensure employee benefits administration and timely resolution of payroll queries.
  • Compliance & Regulatory
    • Ensure statutory compliance across labour laws, PF, ESI, professional tax, and any state-specific regulations relevant to manufacturing and staffing.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and statutory registers; manage timely filings and returns in coordination with vendors/consultants.
    • Support internal and client audits; implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • HR Operations & Employee Relations
    • Administer HR policies, employment contracts, attendance, leave management, shift rosters, and contract manpower compliance.
    • Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and exit interviews; recommend retention and corrective measures.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives, periodic townhalls, and communication for multi-site teams.
    • Maintain HR MIS — headcount, attrition, absenteeism, cost-per-hire, and other HR dashboards for leadership.
  • People Development & Performance
    • Support performance management cycles, promotions, succession planning, and training needs identification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2–4 years in staffing operations or in HR roles supporting large staffing/manufacturing projects.
  • Master's in HR / MBA-HR preferred.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, and compliance for contract manpower.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and popular HRMS/payroll tools (experience coordinating with payroll vendors).
  • Strong recruiting experience across blue-collar, technical, and mid-level roles — ability to manage high-volume hiring.
  • Excellent stakeholder management — able to partner with operations, project managers, and external vendors.
  • Good MS Excel and HR MIS skills; familiarity with ATS/HRMS systems.
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi; comfortable visiting/managing multiple plant sites.
  • High attention to detail, ethical integrity, and ability to manage confidential information.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working directly for a staffing firm or RPO servicing manufacturing clients.
  • Exposure to multi-state operations and handling statutory variations across states.
  • Certification in labour law or payroll is a plus.

Working Conditions & Travel

  • On-site position based in Noida; frequent visits to manufacturing sites and project locations within NCR and nearby states as required.
