Job Title: Plant HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Human Resources Generalist to manage the end-to-end Human Resources function at our plant. This is a solo HR role, and the selected candidate will be the single point of contact for all HR activities.

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
    • Recruit and onboard employees for plant-level roles (blue-collar & staff)
    • Liaise with local contractors/labor vendors for manpower supply
    • Conduct employee onboarding and induction sessions
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
    • Address grievances of workmen and staff, ensuring timely resolution
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities
    • Maintain healthy industrial relations with contract workers and unions (if applicable)
  • Payroll & Compliance:
    • Coordinate with finance/vendor for timely payroll processing
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, etc.)
    • Manage statutory returns, inspections, and audits
  • HR Operations:
    • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management
    • Prepare HR MIS reports on a regular basis
    • Handle documentation related to offer letters, confirmation, separation, etc.
  • Performance & Training:
    • Support performance management processes
    • Identify training needs and organize skill development sessions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Plant HR functions (preferably in a manufacturing setup)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently
