Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Structural Draftsman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate and detailed structural drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure model consistency.
  • Produce shop drawings, detailed sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.
  • Maintain BIM models and update them as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Familiarize yourself with company and project BIM standards and ensure compliance with local and international codes.
  • Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM coordination software.
  • Ensure quality control of drafted output and manage drawing revisions.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide input on constructability and detailing issues.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a structural draftsman, with at least 2 years using BIM/Revit is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Solid knowledge of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning, etc.) and detailing standards is necessary.
  • Experience working on large-scale buildings, infrastructure, or villa projects is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications is crucial.
  • Good communication and coordination skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Revit or BIM is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards is desirable.
  • Experience working in consultant or contractor environments in the region is beneficial.

About the Role:

This position involves preparing structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills and be familiar with construction and detailing standards.
