Key Account Business Developer

Are you a sales professional looking to drive business growth and develop strategic relationships? We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Business Developer to join our team at Ideal Prepaid International. As a Key Account Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing key customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, and supporting sales efforts to meet revenue targets.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships. You will work closely with our sales team, marketing department, and project management teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of services to clients.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Customer Identification and Acquisition: Identify and acquire new key customer accounts in the utility, sub-metering, and property management sectors.
2. Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients, tailoring presentations to meet their specific needs and requirements. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to close deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and challenges.
5. Product Knowledge and Support: Maintain a deep understanding of our products, features, and applications, becoming a trusted advisor to clients in the energy and utility sectors. Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale, ensuring they are satisfied with the product/service and resolving any issues that may arise.
Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the utility, sub-metering, or property management industry.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade clients at all levels.
* Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
* Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Analytical skills with the ability to analyze customer needs, market trends, and sales data to develop effective strategies.
* Negotiation skills with proficiency in negotiating sales terms and conditions to achieve profitable outcomes.
* Familiarity with electric metering solutions and related products is a plus.
