About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Data Engineering Product Lead to join our growing data platform team. This hybrid role is based in India and will support global data initiatives, working closely with onsite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning and managing product strategy, backlog, and roadmap for data platform capabilities.
  • Collaborating with engineering, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Partnering with architects and developers to build scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines.
  • Representing the voice of the customer for offshore delivery, ensuring alignment with US-based business stakeholders.
  • Defining and tracking key performance metrics for data platform products.
  • Driving adoption and usability of Snowflake-based solutions.
  • Supporting delivery teams in Agile/Scrum environment, facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Owner in data-focused projects.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline design.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; Snowflake expertise is essential.
  • Solid grasp of ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and quality standards.
  • Prior experience in building and launching data platform capabilities or products.
  • Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a distributed team setting.
  • Experience working in hybrid or offshore delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in data engineering or analytics before moving into product roles.
  • Exposure to the retail industry is a plus.
  • Agile certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) preferred.
