Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a technical role such as SOC analyst and Incident Response. This leadership position requires strong people management skills to oversee a 24x7 team, as well as experience operating in a tier-less SOC environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to respond to critical incidents and develop strategic security plans
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to brief executive management on major incidents and provide high-level risk assessments
  • Align cybersecurity goals with the organization's overall strategy and execute small to large-scale programs
  • Demonstrate passion, curiosity, and continuous learning in both technical and leadership areas
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders across the organization to drive business outcomes and influence decision-making
  • Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and career development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and apply threat-informed defence principles to proactive defence and incident response strategies
