Job Summary

A senior leader is sought to oversee the development of robust, scalable, and secure systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SRE principles, experience with cloud platforms, and a proven track record of improving operational efficiency and service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement monitoring strategies and capabilities
  • Lead architectural reviews to identify reliability improvements
  • Conduct capacity planning and perform chaos engineering exercises
  • Drive continuous improvement from incidents and contribute to test and deployment processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on SRE experience with a strong understanding of SRE principles
  • Experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating to Error Budgets
  • Practical experience with monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of critical production support processes
  • 2+ years of experience with one or more public/private cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Desired Skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of SRE principles and ability to evangelize
  • Working knowledge of modern observability tooling, including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and associated projects
  • Experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and design
  • Extensive knowledge of Configuration Management Solutions such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
