Compliance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all SEZ-related laws, regulations, and guidelines. This includes staying updated on changes in SEZ policies and implementing necessary adjustments.

Documentation and Reporting:

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining all required documentation for SEZ operations. This includes submitting periodic reports to relevant authorities as mandated by SEZ regulations.

Customs and Import/Export Management:

In addition, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist will oversee customs procedures for goods entering and leaving the SEZ. This includes managing import and export documentation, including licenses and permits.

Audit Readiness:

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance. They will also prepare for and facilitate external audits by government agencies.

Training and Awareness:

Furthermore, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist will provide training to staff on SEZ compliance requirements. They will also develop and maintain compliance manuals and guidelines.

Risk Management:

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies. They will also monitor operations to detect any non-compliance issues.

Stakeholder Management:

Additionally, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for SEZ-related queries from internal and external stakeholders. They will coordinate with other departments to ensure company-wide compliance.

Finally, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist will ensure adherence to financial regulations specific to SEZs. They will also monitor and report on financial incentives and benefits related to SEZ status.

Required Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in SEZ compliance or similar regulatory roles.
• Strong knowledge of SEZ regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, requiring 48 hours of work per week.
