Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Specialist to join our Global-BI/Data Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions on Talend, working closely with developers, QAs, and Support Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver data solutions that enable the collection, processing, and management of information from one or more sources.
  • Produce clean, standards-based, modern code with an emphasis on advocacy toward end-users.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of technology and digital frameworks in the context of data integration.
  • Ensure code and design quality through the execution of test plans and assist in development of standards, methodology, and repeatable processes.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 4+ years relevant technical experience with 3+ years in Java programming.
  • Experience with Talend Data Integration, including design, development, and deployment of ETL scripts.
  • Good knowledge with RDBMS and SQL scripting, as well as Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, Git, and Python programming.
