**Job Overview:**

Our team is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Engineering Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing batch and streaming pipelines in Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and optimize data processing workflows using Apache Spark for large datasets
  • Develop scalable ETL workflows utilizing advanced knowledge of Delta Lake and cloud data services
  • Architect and tune data lakehouse solutions for performance and cost efficiency
  • Enforce data governance, security policies and compliance standards
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production pipelines alongside data scientists

**Requirements & Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark in enterprise settings

**Essential Skills & Competencies:**

  • Technical: Advanced knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake and cloud data services
  • Leadership: Cross-functional collaboration, influencing architectural decisions, mentoring peers
