About the Role

Senior Program Manager (Operations) is a mid-senior level full-time position whose principal aim is to help enhance early childhood education in the state. You will be responsible for program management & operations across 7-8 districts leading a team of Program Managers & District Coordinators. This role includes but is not limited to, driving Rocket Learning's product & initiatives in the state, developing a stronghold in early childhood education, working closely with state & district administration, critical thinking, strategic program management, recruiting, team management & more.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of previous experience is mandatory; public sector & governance experience preferred. A good understanding of Microsoft Office & Google Suite (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Proficiency in formal hindi writing will be essential
  • Previous experience managing a team/leading key projects will be preferred
  • Ability to lead large scale projects, critical thinking, data analysis and excellent program management skills are essential
  • Willingness to travel for a minimum of 15-20% of the total working time
Key Responsibilities:
  • End to end management & expansion of all of Rocket Learning's initiatives across assigned districts. Ensure effective planning, goal setting, review & monitoring of product metrics to achieve yearly targets. Build strong relationships with district level administrators (DPO/CDO/CDPO)
  • Driving cross functional convergence across teams in Rocket Learning to implement internal initiatives. Responsible for hiring, training and supporting the team members in their skill building journey. Translate data into key actionable insights, goals and project plans to achieve relevant targets. Maintain team morale, resolve conflicts and support the team timely to ensure effective implementation. Undertake additional responsibilities as requested by State Leads/Founder(s) or other senior management

  • Expansion of RL's programs & early childhood education focussed learning outcomes in the state. Ability to liaise with key stakeholders especially in trick situations & help build momentum around ECE
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects at a time in a high growth environment. Showcase high-ownership & solution oriented mindset at all times
  • Effective planning, goal setting & problem solving skills
