Job Title: Enterprise Identity Specialist

This role involves working with various technologies to establish secure connections between individuals and systems.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain secure single sign-on (SSO) integrations using OIDC, SAML, and proprietary protocols.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issues related to user provisioning and authentication.
  • Collaborate with partners and developers to review and integrate submitted applications into the Okta Integration Network.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management and technical writers.
  • Gather and document requirements for application enhancements, updates, and fixes.
  • Contribute to team processes by documenting best practices and enhancing toolsets.
  • Work closely with developers to improve app integration documentation.
  • Basic understanding of secure authentication concepts, such as federated identity management and multi-factor authentication.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to review third-party API documentation and determine feasibility of implementing different types of integrations.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Well-organized, methodical approach to tasks and documentation.
  • Multitasking ability with seamless concentration rotation.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Experience with HTTP and HTTPS protocols.
  • Basic programming knowledge in any language.
  • Background in IT analysis or technology consulting with experience in system integration projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Systems or Computer Science.
