Senior Wills and Trusts Specialist

At our firm, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of our in-house legal wills and trusts offering. This is a strategic leadership role that involves overseeing the drafting of complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney. The successful candidate will work closely with financial advisers and clients to provide technical guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of our in-house legal wills and trusts offering
- Draft complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney
- Provide technical guidance and support to financial advisers and clients
- Oversee compliance and risk management for legal outputs
- Build and manage a small, high-performing team as the service expands
- Maintain the highest standards of client care and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Full TEP Practitioner
- Minimum 5 years' experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning
- Proven ability to handle complex HNW/UHNW client cases
- Strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust taxation issues
- Commercially minded, collaborative, and able to operate with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working within a financial services environment
