Job Overview:

The project involves migrating an enterprise from a legacy Active Directory environment to a modern, cloud-based solution. This requires hands-on engineering, scripting, and configuration across hybrid identity and network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and Documentation: Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of existing AD and DNS environments.
  • Migration Execution: Implement domain controller migrations and replication setup across multiple AD forests, ensuring seamless integration with Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Infrastructure Management: Configure and manage DHCP scopes, conditional forwarders, and stub zones for optimal network performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex issues related to LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM-based authentication in a secure environment.
  • Automation and Scripting: Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for provisioning and automation, leveraging Terraform within existing CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory, particularly in multi-domain or multi-forest environments.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), PKI, NPS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with AD Trusts, OUs, FSMO roles, and strong PowerShell scripting skills are essential.
