About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing NC programs and manufacturing processes for aerospace products. This will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production of high-quality components, adhering to industry standards.

  • Create NC programs using CATIA V5 based on part geometry and programming guidelines.
  • Validate NC programs through Vericut Software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop setup sheets for machine operators to facilitate production.

Job Role Overview

This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in NC programming, CAD/CAM design and manufacturing, and precision machining capabilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in NC programming using CATIA or similar software.
  • Experience in NC programming for 5-axis CNC machines is essential.
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 and Vericut Software is required; experience in machining is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NC program optimization techniques is desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018) standards for mechanical design.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Ability to create and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
