We are seeking an experienced NC programmer with expertise in Siemens NX CAM to develop, validate and optimize precision CNC programs for the aerospace industry.

Job Requirements
  • Develop and validate NC programs using Siemens NX CAM for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, 3D models and aerospace specifications to ensure compliance and manufacturability.
  • Define machining strategies, tooling, fixtures and cutting parameters to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Perform post-processing and simulate tool paths to ensure collision-free and optimized machining.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process compliance and effective resource utilization.
  • Optimize NC programs for cycle time reduction, tool life and resource allocation.
  • Provide on-machine support during prove-out and First Article Inspection (FAI) to ensure high-quality results.
  • Maintain strict adherence to aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, customer-specific requirements).
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an NC Programmer in the aerospace domain.
  • Proficient in Siemens NX CAM (preferably the latest versions).
  • Deep understanding of CNC machining for aerospace materials such as Titanium, Aluminum and Inconel.
  • Practical experience in multi-axis machining (3, 4 and 5-axis).
  • Knowledge of GD&T, aerospace documentation and FAI requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Aerospace Expertise
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of material properties and machining characteristics.
  • Experience with Vericut or equivalent simulation software is a plus.
