We are looking for a highly skilled 
NC Programmer

with expertise in 
Siemens NX CAM

for a project with one of our clients in the Aerospace Industry. The candidate should have at least 
5 years of experience

in the 
aerospace industry

. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing NC programs for precision aerospace components, ensuring high-quality machining while adhering to industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate NC programs using 
    Siemens NX CAM
     for 
    3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis
     CNC machines.
  • Interpret and analyze 
    engineering drawings
    , 
    3D models
    , and 
    aerospace specifications
    .
  • Define machining strategies, tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to maximize 
    efficiency and quality
    .
  • Perform 
    post-processing
     and simulate tool paths to ensure 
    collision-free
     and optimized machining.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality teams to ensure 
    process compliance and manufacturability
    .
  • Optimize NC programs for 
    cycle time reduction
    , tool life, and resource utilization.
  • Provide 
    on-machine support
     during prove-out and 
    First Article Inspection (FAI)
    .
  • Ensure strict compliance with 
    aerospace standards
     (e.g., 
    AS9100
    , customer-specific requirements).
  • Document and maintain NC processes, 
    setup sheets
    , and 
    work instructions
    .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in 
    Mechanical
    , 
    Production
    , or 
    Manufacturing Engineering
    .
  • Minimum 5 years
     of hands-on experience as an NC Programmer in the 
    aerospace domain
    .
  • Proficient in 
    Siemens NX CAM
     (preferably the latest versions).
  • Deep understanding of CNC machining for aerospace materials such as 
    Titanium
    , 
    Aluminum
    , and 
    Inconel
    .
  • Practical experience in 
    multi-axis machining
     (3, 4, and 5-axis).
  • Knowledge of 
    GD&T
    , aerospace documentation, and 
    FAI
     requirements.
  • Experience with 
    Vericut
     or equivalent simulation software is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 
    PLM tools
     such as 
    Teamcenter
    .
  • Exposure to 
    lean manufacturing
    , Kaizen, or other process improvement practices.
  • Understanding of 
    composite material machining
     (optional).
