Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D & 3D CAD designs using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.
- Develop CAM programs for CNC Milling, Turning, and Wirecut machines.
- Perform program editing and corrections to optimize machining processes.
- Interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Coordinate with production teams for smooth job execution on shop floor.
- Carry out tool path simulations and ensure error-free NC programs.
- Support process improvements to reduce cycle time and increase efficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation of CAD models, CAM programs, and revisions.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience in CAM programming for CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
- Problem-solving and program correction skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in CAD/CAM design and programming.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
