Job Title: Enterprise Data Solutions Specialist

Job Description:

  • Responsible for implementing and supporting enterprise-wide data archival solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data archival and retrieval processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Server Administration
    • Manage server access permissions and authorizations.
    • Configure and maintain Windows file servers.
    • Perform annual access audits of file servers.
  • Divestment
    • Extract and transfer archived data to buyers.
    • Document maintenance activities, including changes and configurations.
  • Software Management
    • Install and configure Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications.
    • Update software patches and troubleshoot issues.
  • SAP Data Archiving
    • Activate and deactivate archive information structures (AIS).
    • Run catch-up archiving and sweeper tasks.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide regular progress updates and incident reports.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Data Management and Incident Resolution
    • Assess and resolve incidents and tickets.
    • Document incident resolutions and maintenance activities.
  • SAP ILM Retention and Warehouse Management
    • Test and validate archive functionalities.
  • Replication Server Migration/Upgrade
    • Migrate and test data replication.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Data Archival implementation and support.
  • Knowledge of server administration, divestment, software management, and data archiving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lifecycle Cycle management tool.
