Job Opportunity: Enterprise Data Platform Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Enterprise Data Platform Specialist. This is a full-time, 6-month contractual role that offers excellent compensation and flexibility to work across time zones.

This position involves supporting enterprise data platform operations across process improvement, cloud cost management, automation, and infrastructure support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including platform engineering, data engineering, and vendor partners.

As an Enterprise Data Platform Specialist, you will analyze workflows and processes to identify optimization opportunities. You will also build and manage KPIs, dashboards, and reports for leadership insights.

In addition, you will support FinOps initiatives, including cloud cost optimization and vendor management. You will contribute to infrastructure operations, resiliency planning, and automation. Finally, you will assist in the lifecycle management of IT platform products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and optimize data workflows and processes.
  • Design and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Support cloud cost optimization and vendor management initiatives.
  • Contribute to infrastructure operations, resiliency planning, and automation.
  • Lifecycle manage IT platform products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, BI, and cloud operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and FinOps practices.
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, IaC, and CI/CD analytics.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable:

  • Big data analytics platform experience.
  • Advanced FinOps or cloud cost management knowledge.
  • Utilities/Energy industry experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or operational excellence frameworks.
