Finance Operations Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and record-to-report processes preferably in a listed company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. General Ledger Management:

Manage General Ledger accounting and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

Financial Reporting:

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Experience and advanced understanding of working on ERP systems, preferably SAP environment.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Good understanding of Consolidation of Financials with multiple subsidiaries both domestic and international.
  • Deep understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IND AS, GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

Intercompany Accounting:

  • Intercompany eliminations and reconciliation as a pre-requisite to Consolidated Financial Statements.
  • Collaborate with business units to resolve intercompany discrepancies and issues.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Group companies and Holding Company reporting.

Related Party Reporting:

  • Reconcile and Report all Related Party transactions.
  • Implement best practices and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Foster process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and treasury, to support business initiatives and projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inquiries and provide financial insights.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting and record to report functions. Listed company experience preferred.
  • Preferred Industry Experience: IT, ITES, Technology, FMCG and other related.
  • Experience with BIG 4 audit firms is desired for a suitable candidate.
  • Strong understanding of IndAS, Companies Act, SEBI Regulations and FEMA.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems - SAP.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet timelines as required for a Listed Entity reporting.
  • Strong analytical mindset and logical thinking, Strong attention to details.
