Job Role:

SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Specialist

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end sourcing processes for clients using SAP Ariba Guided Sourcing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, test, and deploy sourcing processes (RFx, Auctions, Supplier Management) in line with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into effective Ariba solutions.
  • Support the entire sourcing project lifecycle from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba and ERP systems like SAP ECC/S4 HANA.
  • Develop and deliver user training programs, conduct workshops, and prepare functional documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guided Sourcing and sourcing modules.
  • Stay updated with new features in Ariba Guided Sourcing and share best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite, with at least 2 years in Guided Sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of Sourcing, Contract Management, and Supplier Lifecycle Performance modules.
  • Hands-on expertise with configuration, templates, event creation (RFx, Auctions), and workflows in Guided Sourcing.
  • Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and integration points.
  • Experience working with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA integration.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder interaction, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in SAP Ariba (Sourcing/Procurement) is an added advantage.

Good to Have:

  • Understanding of Ariba Contracts, Ariba Buying & Invoicing.
  • Exposure to upstream & downstream Ariba modules.
  • Previous experience in global implementation/rollout projects.
