Procurement Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process. This includes creating purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with experience in reviewing and releasing purchase orders, reconciling purchase orders, resolving supplier queries, and expediting critical purchase orders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review Material Requirements and Specifications: Prepare and analyze bid responses, and share them with stakeholders.
  • Manage Purchase Orders: Review, release, reconcile, and resolve issues related to purchase orders.
  • Maintain Master Data: Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data is maintained.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Process Governance: Establish and monitor issue management, change management, and quality management processes.
  • Communication: Organize meetings between teams, suppliers, and customers for issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Team management, stakeholder management, escalation management, and performance review management experience.
  • Supplier Management: Monitoring and managing supplier information experience.
  • Master Data Management: Master data management related to procurement experience.
  • Procure-to-Pay Cycles: End-to-end experience in procure-to-pay cycles.
  • RFx Process: RFx process experience.
  • Project Implementation: Transformation and automation projects for procurement experience.
  • System Knowledge: JDE, SAP S4/ERP, and Ariba usage experience.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Project management and analytical skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Root cause analysis experience.

  • Project Management Certification: Possession of project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
