Strategic Sourcing Professional

Role Overview:

As a Strategic Sourcing Professional, you will play a key role in providing sourcing value within the procurement organization for various business categories. This includes group insurance and operations services, consulting, human resources, marketing, communications, finance services, software, IT services, and IT hardware/products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of the sourcing process to ensure timely and effective results.
  • Support clients on related governance requirements for their deal, including third-party risk management, anti-money laundering screening, financial viability, etc.
  • Focus on the continuous improvement of various procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience with a proven track record of leading sourcing initiatives, processes, and developing strategies.
  • Proven skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders to drive the process.
  • Familiarity with vendor contract language, SAP Ariba Contracts, and sourcing modules.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead negotiations to conclusion.

Preferred Skills:

  • Effective client relationship management skills are critical in this role.
  • Financial analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Conference call management and negotiation skills.
