Compliance Leader

NIRA is a fintech startup building financial services for India's mass market.

We are seeking an experienced compliance professional to lead our compliance program and ensure we meet all applicable regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RBI regulations, experience in an NBFC, and a hands-on approach to solving compliance-related challenges in a startup environment.

  • Lead the development and implementation of the compliance program across the organization.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and manage external compliance audits.

The Compliance Leader will play a crucial role in shaping NIRA's compliance culture and ensuring we navigate regulatory challenges in a rapidly evolving fintech landscape.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance with at least 3 years in the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of RBI regulations, particularly in the context of digital lending and NBFC operations.
  • Prior experience working in an NBFC is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
