About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Product Owner - Open Banking to lead our newly established team focusing on Open Banking and PSD2 in Europe, as well as Open Finance in the UK. This pivotal role involves leading analysis and design of innovative solutions that comply with regulatory frameworks and align with the strategic objectives of our banking and financial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analyses of Open Banking regulations (PSD2, PSD3, Open Banking - UK, and Open Finance), interpreting and translating regulatory requirements into actionable business insights and solutions, and overseeing their implementation.
• Develop comprehensive traceability matrices to ensure end-to-end compliance with regulations.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify and document the impact of regulatory changes on systems, processes, and workflows.
• Support internal advocacy efforts by contributing to internal communications, regulatory insights, and compliance timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deep dives, impact assessments, and detailed requirement gathering.
• Monitor regulatory developments, including EBA publications, to ensure timely and proactive responses to emerging compliance needs.
• Stay up-to-date with PSD2, PSD3, and other relevant regulations in Open Banking and Open Finance.
• Undertake market research, collate feature recommendations from clients, and build a pipeline of requirements.
• Identify market trends and opportunities in Open Banking and develop requirements for innovative products and services.
• Provide guidance and support to presales and professional services on new system features.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a regulatory environment, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
• Experience with PSD2 and Berlin Group NextgenPSD2 or Open Banking UK is mandatory.
• Proven skills in regulatory interpretation, impact analysis, and the creation of traceability matrices.
• Ability to conduct detailed mappings of regulatory requirements to organizational systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with different Open Banking Frameworks and involvement in API integrations or implementations.
• Understanding clients' use cases and advising on suitable integration practices.
• Managing the full implementation cycle end-to-end, culminating in successful project launch.
• Comfortable delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
