Job Position: Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill this critical role in our organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in firewall configuration and management, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale network implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage firewalls to ensure robust security measures are in place.
  • Support the implementation of firewall changes and work closely with the Change Management team to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with program managers and project managers to develop implementation plans for firewalls and other network devices.
  • Work with LAN, WAN, and Cyber Security teams on connectivity approvals to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Plan and manage network demand and capacity with the Network Capacity Analyst to prevent congestion and downtime.
  • Implement firewall devices as specified by the Architect and Design Team to meet business requirements.
  • Perform pre-checks and post-checks for firewall implementation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide project support for firewalls until OAT is completed and handed over to BAU for maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with at least two types of firewalls (Checkpoint Firewall, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco ASA Firewall).
  • Working experience in Cisco Data Network, Nexus 7k, EIGRP, and other related technologies.
  • Experience in routing, switching, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Check Point certification (CCSA) or Palo Alto Certification (PCNSE).
  • Insights into Azure Cloud - ExpressRoute and VNET Configuration.
  • CCNP Network Certification.

Education:

  • Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
  • Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG, and PG (if applicable).
