Finance Planning Expert

Objective

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic finance planning solutions that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide financial planning models using TM1/IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs.
  • Develop and maintain robust data governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Manage and optimize financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Provide advisory support to finance teams, empowering them to leverage TM1 solutions effectively for business insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Advanced knowledge of finance planning applications, including TM1 (mandatory), BPC, Hyperion, and Anaplan.
    • Experience in TM1/IBM Planning Analytics, including TurboIntegrator, rules, feeders, and cube development.
    • Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL processes.
    • Knowledge of data visualization tools and integration with ERP systems.
  • Financial Process Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.
    • Experience designing solutions aligned with finance-driven priorities and goals.
  • Solution Design and Advisory Skills:
    • Expertise in analyzing business requirements and providing innovative, strategic solutions.
    • Ability to design architecture for scalability, reliability, and future growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and present complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating TM1 with ERP systems and visualization tools.
  • Exposure to TM1 Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and financial data modeling.
