Financial Operations Specialist

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team on an initial 6-month contract with a clear path to a full-time role based on performance. This is a high-responsibility position ideal for candidates with 3–4 years of accounting experience who are ready to take ownership of end-to-end finance operations.
- Accurately record and post accounting entries in Tally software.
- Perform thorough bank and vendor reconciliations.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other tax compliance filings and payments efficiently.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Oversee cash management effectively.
- Handle payroll processing and salary administration tasks.
- Ensure strict compliance and internal financial controls.
- Manage vendor payments and maintain related documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial statements for internal/external reviews.
- Support audit processes with required documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (accounting entries, tax compliance, vendor payments).
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation systems.
- Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
