Operations Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Team Lead to join our team. As an experienced manager, you will lead and manage operations teams to ensure timely and accurate operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the operations for imports and exports departments.
  • Supervise shift managers and their teams to ensure all team members meet expectations in quality, timelines, and communication.
  • Ensure full compliance with standard operating procedures and identify areas of inefficiency or data integrity issues.
  • Resolve escalations and exceptions during the shipment process.
  • Deliver regular feedback, training, and development sessions to build operational thinking and ownership mindset in the team.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with freight forwarding procedures and financials.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (Commerce, International Trade, Logistics preferred).
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience, preferably in freight forwarding.
  • 2+ years of team management experience, including managing team leads or shift managers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and customer service mindset.
