Job Description

The ideal candidate will spearhead the transformation of workspaces into stunning, functional environments. As a seasoned expert with a passion for innovative design, you'll play a crucial role in crafting aesthetically pleasing and well-designed spaces that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Conduct thorough research to understand clients' business goals and objectives, analyze client workspace requirements and develop actionable plans, build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
  • Conceptual Design: Develop innovative design proposals integrating space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and sustainable materials, craft compelling mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Space Planning and Layout: Design efficient space plans that optimize workflow, ergonomics, and cultural ethos, leverage space utilization strategies to enhance productivity and foster a cohesive work culture.
  • Material Selection and Specification: Curate and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the envisioned aesthetic and meet stringent functional criteria, ensure adherence to safety and sustainability standards, incorporating eco-conscious choices.
  • Budget Management: Create project budgets and timelines, working within budget constraints to deliver cost-effective design solutions, source and procure materials and furnishings within established budgets.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and permitting purposes, maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing team, foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture/interior design or a related field.
  • Experience in leading client pitches.
  • Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in workplace design projects and team management.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, Revit, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
