DevOps Engineer Role

Job Overview:

This DevOps Engineer position involves streamlining and managing release management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage Salesforce DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Version Control: Work extensively with Git-based version control (branching, merging, pull requests)
  • Deployment Automation: Automate deployments across multiple Salesforce orgs (sandbox to production)
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and admins to ensure smooth release cycles
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance
  • Best Practices: Implement DevOps best practices for scalability, governance, and security

Requirements:

  • Salesforce Experience: Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, Flosum, or similar)
  • Git Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Git workflows and repository management
  • CI/CD Setup: Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and management (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)
  • Salesforce Metadata: Familiarity with Salesforce Metadata, SFDX, and change sets
  • Cloud Platforms: Good understanding of cloud platforms and Linux-based environments
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Bonus Certification: Bonus: Salesforce/DevOps-related certifications
