Job Description:

The Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and quality compliance of all procurement activities.

This position is responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability. The Procurement Specialist will negotiate prices and purchase order terms with vendors to achieve the best value.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data. Additionally, the Procurement Specialist will handle Quality Control reports, rejections, and replacements, as well as monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices, identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, and build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Negotiate prices and PO terms with vendors to achieve best value.
  • Issue purchase orders and track delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data.
  • Handle QC reports, rejections, and replacements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Operations or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with contract law and sourcing strategies.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
