Import Procurement Manager

We are seeking a skilled Import Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing end-to-end import procurement operations and contributing to the company's global growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage import procurement operations from initial enquiry to delivery.
  • Timely offer collection, preparation of CS and creation of PO, Contract, Service WO in SAP.
  • Release vendor payment as PO terms and follow up for delivery with shipper of pending order.
  • Coordinate with plant user, account dept, store dept, supplier, freight forwarder and CHA for day-to-day operation for on-time delivery as per schedule.
  • Prepare and update MIS reports, including Stock Report, Transit Stock, Pending Order, Pending Advances, EPCG report, EPR report, EU report, and others as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (B.Tech/MBA) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in import procurement; graduate/postgraduate with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Strong command of MS Office and SAP MM.
  • Desired skills: Knowledge and experience of Import procurement, Customs Clearance, International freight forwarding, Inventory Control, MIGO, MIRO, MOVEMENT TYPE, TRANSFER ORDER IN SAP, Purchase experience in engineering and industrial DI pipe consumable import and domestic item.
