Job Description
  • Support a bulge bracket global investment bank as a 1-on-1 equity research professional in QC's and Model Validation
  • Maintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecasts
  • Conduct extensive company valuations using approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA
  • Validate already existing financial models
  • Benchmark companies using financial and operating statistics
  • Collect information from industry or sector databases
  • Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activities
  • Collect financial data using online and other sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters
  • Create and maintain industry databases
  • Handle ad hoc research requests
  • Summarize investment conference calls
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA / MBA / CFA with 4+ years of experience (multiple sector experience will be a plus)
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to structure and write reports (should be able to frame views and write effectively)
  • Good communication skills (should be able to put across thoughts clearly and confidently)
  • Ability to multi-task and manage an entire workflow
  • Ability to generate interesting observations / ideas from news / events / data
  • Self-motivated and proactive
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
