Acquisition Manager Job Description

  • Job Summary:A seasoned professional sought to oversee the strategic acquisition of businesses, utilizing in-depth market research, financial analysis, and negotiation skills to drive growth and success.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    1. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential acquisition targets, analyzing trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments.
    2. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities, building relationships with industry contacts, brokers, and sellers.
    3. Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses for potential acquisitions, assessing financial viability and potential return on investment.
    4. Lead due diligence management, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to mitigate risks and ensure successful integrations.
    5. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for acquisitions, preparing proposals and investment memorandums for senior management.
    6. Manage post-acquisition integration, collaborating with teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful integrations of acquired assets or businesses.

    1. Proven track record in acquisition strategy development, execution, and delivery.
    2. Strong understanding of financial markets, valuations, and deal structuring.
    3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    4. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
    5. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
