Portfolio Management Professional

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will undertake in-depth research and analysis to identify novel product opportunities in emerging markets. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its dynamics.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of secondary market data to understand potential opportunities across various therapies.
  • Preliminary IP landscaping of products with respect to patents worldwide.
  • Develop and update business cases for new products proposed for selection in portfolio meetings.
  • Monitor market updates such as label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, and quarterly sales for innovator brands.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay abreast of market trends.
  • Identify new entry channels for the company through in-licensing and other opportunities to drive business growth.

Mandatory skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the IP landscape in the pharma sector across markets.
  • Good understanding of pharma regulations in the US, EU, and emerging markets.
  • Good understanding of formulation selection processes, including medical uniqueness, commercial forecasts, and fitment with technical capabilities.
  • Good grasp of forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in data platforms such as IQVIA, Corelli's, IPD analytics, and Global data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications: M. Pharm/ M.Sc Chemistry/ MBA (preferably from Tier I Institute / University)

Minimum Work Experience: 3 to 5 years in Portfolio, Strategy, and/or IPM
